James Lapine
James Lapine is the award-winning writer of musicals, plays and screenplays. He collaborated with Stephen Sondheim on such legendary musicals as “Into the Woods” and “Sunday in the Park with George,” for which he won the 1985 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. His groundbreaking “Falsettos” in collaboration with William Finn, is currently in revival at Lincoln Center, where his adaptation of Moss Hart’s “Act One” was mounted in 2014. Lapine is, as well, a theater, film and TV director. He has won three Tony Awards and was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 2011.
