Extended Curriculum Policy
Students who are enrolled for Extended Curriculum will remain responsible for 100% of the applicable tuition and fees for that semester(s) defined by the leave dates. The tuition charge(s) will apply toward the required eight (8) semesters of tuition charges. Students who are enrolled for Extended Curriculum are not eligible for the Medical College Refund Policy. Students will remain eligible for financial aid and should apply through the annual process. For more information see the MD handbook here.
Medical/ Personal Leave Policy
Students who are on a medical/personal leave prior to the start of the academic semester, will not be charged applicable tuition for that semester. However students will be charged all applicable Medical College fees for the semester. Students will not be eligible for financial aid while on a medical/personal leave. Students who are approved for a medical/personal leave after the semester start date will remain responsible for 100% of the applicable tuition and fees for that semester. The tuition charge will apply toward one (1) of the required eight (8) semesters of the program tuition. Students who are approved for a medical/personal leave after the semester start date are not eligible for the Medical College Refund Policy.
Students on leave will be responsible for the following applicable Medical College fees:
- Health Service Fee
- Technology Fee
- University Fee
- Disability Insurance
- Any active insurance enrollments as listed in the additional fees section
