Northeast’s 41st conference was held on March 1, 2014 here at Weill Cornell Medical College. This year’s conference titled Abriendo La Puerta: Latin@s Promoting Unity, Education, & Rights Through Awareness focus was to provide a collaborative environment for the creative exchange of ideas in promoting and advancing Latino and minority healthcare. Cindy Parra and Raul Martinez-McFaline organized this year’s conference which acquired approximately 250 attendees!
